Xinyi Minnie Liu is a second year graduate student in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department in Princeton University. She graduated with the highest honor from Smith College in 2014 and received her B.S. degree in Engineering and B.A. degree in Economics. Her research interests include material science and energy storage systems. Her current work includes mechanical properties of lithium-ion pouch cells and their degradation. She will pursue a Ph.D. degree and she currently works in Professor Craig Arnold’s group on mechanical properties of lithium-ion battery.
