Two Bubbles Merging by MAE Grad Student Daniel Shaw

In Prof. Luc Deike’s lab at MAE, grad student Daniel Shaw is working with bubbles to better understand what happens when they merge on the ocean’s surface. This research provides insight into interactions between the ocean and the atmosphere, which is an important part of understanding the climate. Such research can be applied to environmental purposes like oil spill mitigation.
