Short Bio
I am a member of the Electric Propulsion and Plasma Dynamics Laboratory, where I work at the Steady State Magnetoplasmadynamic Thruster Facilities. The focus of my research is the lithium Lorentz force accelerator, a type of high thrust density plasma rocket. I am more generally interested in manned space exploration and any means through which such exploration can be made more affordable. Prior to my work at Princeton University, I owned a carpentry company in Indiana, where I also studied physics and worked as a research assistant on the ATLAS experiment comparing Monte Carlo methods for W + n-jet and vector boson fusion processes.
