David Feng is currently a third-year MAE graduate student at Princeton University. David previously graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.S. in mechanical engineering in 2015. His current research interests include optical/laser diagnostics and spectroscopy for the measurement of flow field/combustion parameters and remote detection of trace species. His current research focuses on improving current light scattering diagnostics to better study the properties of gases and high-speed flows (filtered Rayleigh scattering) as well as nanoparticles (coherent Rayleigh Brillouin scattering).
