Short Bio

Claudia received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University in 2017. She is currently a graduate student working in Prof. Marcus Hultmark’s Fluid Mechanics and Transport Phenomena research group. Her research includes experimental studies of dynamic stall experienced by airfoils at high Reynolds numbers, and its effect on the performance of vertical axis wind turbines, as well as field experiments using nanoscale hot-wires to measure small-scale turbulence in the atmospheric surface layer.
