Joseph (Joe) Tylka is a graduate student in the 3D Audio and Applied Acoustics Laboratory at Princeton University, where he is conducting his dissertation research on binaural rendering and navigation of recorded 3D soundfields. He received his B.S. in physics from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2012, and his M.A. in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Princeton University in 2014. Joe's research interests include 3D audio, psychoacoustics, and digital signal processing.
