Pierre-Yves Taunay is a member of the Electric Propulsion and Plasma Dynamics Laboratory, working with Prof. Edgar Choueiri. His current research focuses on microwave-plasma interaction in a large thermionic emitter for next-generation high-power spacecraft propulsion. Pierre-Yves graduated in 2012 with an M. Sc. in Aerospace Engineering and General Engineering from Penn State University and the Ecole Centrale de Nantes, respectively. Before joining Princeton University in 2014, he worked for two years as a Software Engineer at the Institute for Cyberscience at Penn State University on problematics involving large-scale parallel computing.
