Short Bio
Scott is a 5th year PhD candidate, working with Professor Clancy Rowley. His research lies at the intersection of fluid mechanics, dynamical systems, control theory, and data science. In particular, he aims to develop and improve upon algorithms capable of extracting useful dynamic information and models from the increasingly large datasets available to researchers in fluid mechanics. He has a particular focus on modeling and controlling unsteady aerodynamic systems, such as rapidly flapping wings.
