Professor Michael Littman was awarded The Distinguished Teaching Award at this years 2015 Class day ceremony. This award recognizes a sustained record of excellence in teaching our students, and in making contributions to our education mission. Here, “teaching our students” is defined in a broad sense to include instruction of undergraduate and graduate students. Similarly, “contributions to our education mission” is also defined in a broad sense to include textbooks, monographs, and educational software, which have impacted education. With well over 150 eligible faculty, the Distinguished Teacher Award is the highest faculty honor conferred by Princeton’s SEAS.
