Nikita Dutta, a group member in Prof. Arnold's lab, has won the MRS Graduate Student Silver Award and the recipient of the Arthur Nowick Graduate Student Award

Nikita is a fifth year student in the department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, pursuing a Joint PhD Degree in Materials Science at the Princeton Institute for the Science and Technology of Materials. Her research establishes cryo-EM as a viable technique to elucidate the nature of colloids in perovskite inks, a vital step toward a fundamental understanding of thin-film crystallization.

The MRS Graduate Student Awards are intended to honor and encourage graduate students whose academic achievements and current materials research display a high level of excellence and distinction. The Arthur Nowick Graduate Student Award honors the late Dr. Arthur Nowick and his lifelong commitment to teaching and mentoring students in materials science.

Please join us in congratulating Nikita on her achievements!
