Three members of MAE combustion research groups have recently received faculty appointments.
Jonathan F. MacArt, a graduate student in Prof. Michael E. Mueller’s group, will become Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. Jon will start at Notre Dame in January 2020. In the interim, he will work as a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Center for Exascale Simulation of Plasma-Coupled Combustion at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Suo Yang, a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Prof. Mueller’s group, will become Richard & Barbara Nelson Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Suo will start at U. Minnesota in August 2018.
Abhishek Saha, an Associate Research Scholar in Prof. Chung K. Law’s group, has been appointed as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. Saha will start at UC San Diego in July 2018.
