Frank Giraldo (MAE 1987) named a Distinguished Professor of Applied Mathematics at the Naval Postgraduate School

Alumnus Frank Giraldo (MAE 1987) was recently named a Distinguished Professor of Applied Mathematics at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. He will be the Department Chairman starting fall 2021, and just published a book with Springer-Verlag in their Computational Science and Engineering Series: An Introduction to Element-Based Galerkin Methods on Tensor-Product Bases.
