Short Bio

Omar Yehia is a graduate student in the department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University. He is currently studying combustion science under the supervision of Professor Yiguang Ju. His current research interests include low-temperature kinetics, flame theory, and turbulent combustion. Prior to joining Princeton, he earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University where has was a researcher at the Maurice J. Zucrow Laboratories and Birck Nanotechnology Center at Discovery Park. Previous research interests have included nanoscale composite energetic materials, microscale combustion, and thermophotovoltaic systems.
