Jeremy Kasdin discusses WFIRST in Washington

On Thursday, June 15th, Jeremy Kasdin, Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, and David Spergel, Charles A. Young Professor of Astronomy on the Class of 1897 Foundation and Professor of Astrophsyical Sciences, went to Washington DC and visited Repesentative John Culbertson of Texas.  Mr. Culberston is the chair of the House Appropriations subcommittee on Commerce, Justice and Science.  A discussion about the importance of WFIRST and exoplanet science took place.  

They were joined by Rachel Pyfrom, Princeton University Class of 2019, who is interning in Washington this summer.
