Short Bio

Daniel Floryan is a graduate student in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University. He works with professors Clarence Rowley and Alexander Smits on elucidating the physics responsible for fast and efficient fish swimming using experimental, numerical, and analytical methods. Daniel graduated from Cornell University in 2014 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Mathematics.
