Dee Howard Fellowship Endowed Faculty in Mechanical Engineering - University of Texas San Antonio
The Department of Mechanical Engineering in the College of Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) invites applications for the Dee Howard Fellowship endowed tenured/tenure‐track position to be filled by August 2018. The Department is looking for outstanding individuals at the rank of Associate Professor with a developed research program who can help the department strengthen its teaching and research programs. Outstanding applicants at the Assistant level will be considered if sufficient independent research accomplishments can be demonstrated. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field by the time of employment. Applicants are sought in the broad research area of aerodynamics, both experimental and computational. Subfields of interest include but are not limited to: internal flows, external flows, compressible flow, CFD, multiphase flow, turbulence modeling, combustion, chemically‐reacting flows,propulsion, controls, and aeroelasticity.
